MY JOURNEY

My approach to soul work has developed from my training and experience as a Psychosynthesis psychotherapist (Dip Couns. and MA Psych. from the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London) along with my year-long Advanced Diploma training in coaching (with Wise Goose Coaching Training).
It is inspired by the Soul Process Work of Dr Thomas Yeomans, and is built upon the abundant experiences and learnings of a life lived passionately following the call of my own soul.
Here is a brief outline of my life journey so far and how it has led me to becoming a soul work practitioner…
A spontaneous peak experience whilst at university in my early twenties took my life in a very different direction to where it had been heading. No longer interested in a career in advertising or public relations, I began to explore what was then seen as ‘alternative’ culture. I needed to make sense of the peak experience that had opened my mind through a brief but transformational moment of cosmic consciousness.
This led me to decades of inner and outer exploration. Initially to the work of Carl Jung, shamanism, spirituality, and to a decade working in the field of environmental and outdoor education.
Though once I saw that the solution to our environmental and social problems lay in a shift in human consciousness, I trained as a Psychosynthesis psychotherapist.
Psychosynthesis is a psychospiritual approach to life and to healing, developed by Roberto Assagioli, and it has been an ongoing gift, inspiration and inner compass on my own life path.
I qualified and worked successfully as a Psychosynthesis psychotherapist, but then love, and the call of my soul, took me on a wild and deep decades-long journey of soul healing.
In this time I have worked as a drugs worker with young people, as Drugs Services Coordinator for West Cornwall, have run a business delivering locally-sourced drinking water, worked as a live-in carer, a festival security guard, and have worked with the living and the dead as a funeral support operative.
Though ever since that life-changing peak experience at the age of twenty, my central focus has been the search for a deeper experience and understanding of life, of reality and of Consciousness itself.
This search has involved much learning and life experience, deep psychospiritual inner work, altered states experiences of many varieties, a deep and abiding love for and connection with our sacred Earth and Sun, much Ho’oponopono, many forms of loving soul relationships, and a journey of deep soul exploration, awareness and healing.
Through a rich and eventful life, always following the call of my heart and soul - involving much love, a lot of dancing, and a decade of doing dancefloor energy work at festivals all over Europe - I have journeyed deep into Life and found that for which I was searching.
Now my passion is to use all I have learnt and experienced in service to others, to our sacred Earth and to Life itself, through my life as a whole, and in particular by supporting others by offering soul work and in being an advocate for the soul perspective on reality and life.
